Marjolein Praag

My name is Marjolein Praag, all-round employee at E&R Classics. I graduated in Hotel and Event Management at Tio University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven.

My very first car was a 2009 Mini Clubman 1.6. I have great memories of this because it meant real freedom for me. I could go wherever I wanted. It is partly thanks to this Mini that I discovered my love and passion for cars and oldtimers. I like to be on the road and the longer the ride takes, the more I enjoy it.

My dream car is a Ford Mustang, preferably a Shelby GT500. I also absolutely love the Volkswagen Beetle. When the sun is shining, nothing beats a ride in a Beetle Cabriolet and enjoying the outdoors while touring.

In addition to my function as an all-round employee, I am involved in various activities for keveruitje.nl and buggyrally.nl.

Suppose you had to give someone a lift. Who would that be and why?
That would definitely be Michael Jackson for me. I find his talent in combination with his pursuit of perfection in his music and performances very impressive. If Michael Jackson is sitting in the front with me, Jochem Myjer (Dutch comedian) can certainly sit in the back with me. I really think he is the very best comedian and I even met him at a star restaurant where I worked at the time. His personality and manner really cheers everyone up. He is so positive, funny and also completely himself.

What is your best car related memory?
I always like car related memories because I love driving. Driving in classic cars, youngtimers or modern cars gives a feeling of freedom and takes you to new destinations. If I have to mention a very nice memory, it is driving with all the various classic cars from E&R Classics. All (classic) cars have their own charm and that's what makes it so much fun for me.

What makes a working day at E&R Classics so much fun for you?
I am fortunate that I can drive (almost) all cars and classic cars that are on display at E&R Classics. I travel a lot, visit many different places and meet all kinds of car enthusiasts. The diversity and the feeling of freedom during a working day makes this the perfect job for me.
