Aston Martin DB5 classic

The Aston Martin DB5 is a British Grand Tourer that first appeared on the market in 1963. The DB5 was released in 3 different variants: The DB5 Vantage which is a lighter high-performance version, the convertible version called the DB5 convertible, and a DB5 shooting brake.

The Aston Martin DB5 had a 4.0 liter inlince-six cylinder engine producing 286 hp. The top speed is 233 km/h and the DB5 could accelerate from 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The DB5 Vantage version brought an upgrade in power. The engine now produced 330 hp instead of the standard 286.

The Aston Martin DB5 is best known for special effects expert John Stears, who adapted the car for James Bond in the movie Goldfinger. In total there are four Goldfinger DB5 copies. After Goldfinger, the DB5 became associated with the James Bond movies. It has since been used for Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, Skyfall and No Time to Die.
