The Bentley Continental is known for its special chassis and the powerful engine under the hood. The Continental was also the first car to be produced since the acquisition of Bentley by Volkswagen AG.
One of the models is the Continental GT. The first Gt was made in 2003. The car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The car differed from its predecessors, the Continental R and the Continental T, in mass production and the lower price of the car. The lower price of the car ensured that the Bentley got a larger target group. The Continental GT has a 6.0 liter W12 engine with twin turbochargers, and the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed of the car is 318 km/h. An exceptional feature of the car is the dashboard clock designed by Breitling, a Swiss luxury watchmaker.
Over the years, several models of the Bentley Continental GT have appeared. After a few years, the Continental GTC was unveiled. That is the convertible version. This model accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. However, the top speed of this variant depends on the roof. When the roof of the car is raised, the car reaches a top speed of 314 km/h. With the roof down, the car reaches a top speed of 305 km/h.
