Bentley Eight classic
The Bentley Eight was introduced by Bentley as an “entry-level model”. It was launched in 1984 and production was discontinued in 1992. A total of 1736 Bentley Eights were produced.
The Bentley Eight was a 3-speed automatic transmission paired with a 6.75 liter Rolls-Royce V8 engine producing 208 hp. This resulted in a top speed of 195 km/h where you drove to 100 km/h within 11.4 seconds.
The Bentley Eight was introduced with fabric upholstery, steel wheels and a mesh grille. In 1986, the Eight was upgraded. Anti-lock brakes and fuel injection were added. In 1987, leather upholstery and electrically adjustable seats were added. An automatic ride height adjustment was added in 1990 and in 1992 the three-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a four-speed transmission.
