The BMW Z4 is made for novice and experienced drivers. This convertible provides a free-feeling driving experience, but is quiet enough to be comfortable for a nice long drive. While the Z4's handling isn't quite as sharp as the comparable Toyota Supra coupés, or as powerful as the Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman, the BMW Z4's ride comfort and chic cabin make it easy to enjoy this car.
The BMW Z4 comes with two different turbocharged engines: the regular Z4 with a four-cylinder with 255 hp that accelerates to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds, or the BMW Z4 M40i with a six-cylinder with 382 hp that does the same in 3.8 seconds. Both versions come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Despite the Z4 not being a manual transmission, the automatic transmission provides sharp responses, snappy gear changes and smooth operation. It is not for nothing that this automatic transmission from BMW is known as one of the best automatic transmissions in the world.
BMW also offers various options so that you can configure your BMW Z4 to your liking. For example, you can opt for several safety packages, the Dynamic Handling package and the well-known M Sport package. This gives you the look of the BMW Z4 M40i, but on your BMW Z4 30i. Furthermore, different colors are available for the exterior, and you can configure the tires, grille and rims to your liking. In addition, the interior of the Z4 is known to be very high-quality. It features luxurious materials, exceptional panel mounting and excellent control placement. The Z4's seats are comfortable with firm cushioning to keep you in place as you enjoy the dynamics of the BMW Z4.
