The Ferrari 458 first came on the market in 2010, and was produced until mid-2015. The 458 was the replacement for the F430. The 458 was designed by Pininfarina. The exterior had the main purpose: downforce. The 458 was supposed to provide aerodynamic efficiency.

The name 458 is derived from the engine specifications. For example, the Ferrari 458 has a 4.5 liter V8 power source. This engine produces 562 hp, has a top speed of 325 km / h and flies to 100 in 3.4 seconds. The 458 is also equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This was also used for the Ferrari California. The 458 also brought a new technology: an engine equipped with direct fuel injection, which has never been applied to a mid-engined Ferrari before.

In 2014, Ferrari released an upgraded 458: the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The power was boosted to 605 hp, where you fly to 100 within 3 seconds. At the same time, a special package for the Ferrari 458 was also released: the Aperta package. This Aparta package ensured that the 458 Speciale became a folding roof convertible.
