1958 Alfa Romeo 2000
The 1958 Alfa Romeo 2000 was the successor to the Alfa Romeo 1900. Internally designated the 102-Series, the Alfa Romeo 2000 would feature new bodywork wrapped around what was essentially the Alfa Romeo 1900 engine. The Berlina Sedan and Spider Convertible would be the first on the scene. Later in 1960, a Sprint Coupe would complete the lineup. All 3 models had a family resemblance to the Alfa Romeo Giuliettas. The Alfa Romeo 2000 was the product of racing experience. The Berlina would offer 105hp and the Sprint and Spider models would offer 115hp. Just over 7000 Alfa Romeo 2000 units were manufactured prior to the end of production in 1962.
Looking to purchase a classic Alfa Romeo?
When buying a 1958 Alfa Romeo 2000, always ensure that you have the car thoroughly inspected by a specialist. Bodywork for these classics can be quite costly.
