1965 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider
The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider was introduced in late 1962. Although it's design was quite similar to the Alfa Romeo 2000, it would offer a different grille, hood, windshield and body trim. The car had an increase in hp and performance from the new engine. Inside the Spiders cockpit is an instrument cluster, designed with large, round gauges resting behind the steering wheel. The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider offered quicker steering and a better acceleration. Between the introduction in 1962 and the end of production in 1965, approx 2255 Spiders were manufactured.
