1954 Jaguar XK140

The Jaguar XK140 was the evolution of the XK120, and was the answer to several issues that were not addressed in the XK120 models. The 1954 Jaguar XK140 offered rack and pinion steering, and telescopic dampers. Some options that were offered in the XK120SE like the more powerful engine and thicker torsion bars were now made standard in the 1954 XK140. Visually the Jaguar XK140 changed very little from the XK120, however it did have heavier bumpers.
