1955 Jaguar XK140
Produced between 1954-1957, the Jaguar XK140 was the successor to Jaguars successful XK120 car. Upgrades included better brakes, rack and pinion steering, increased suspension travel, and modern tube style shock absorbers. Introduced in late 1954 and sold as the 1955 Jaguar XK 140, additional changes included more substantial bumpers and flashing turn signals. Furthermore, double amber lights above the front bumper helped to differentiate the XK140 from the XK120. Ironically, Jaguar XK120 owners started asking for similar lights to be installed on their cars.
