1971 Mercedes Benz 280SL
Highly desirable when they first launched, the Mercedes Benz SL models still remain populair to this day. Though not as powerful as the Mercedes 300SL, or as curvaceous as the 190SL, the Mercedes Benz 280SL 1971 was well balanced, a high performer, and an exciting daily driver. 30 years later, many parts for these models are still available, and many owners continue to use these classic cars as their everyday-driver. Only 830 units were made in the last production year of the Mercedes 280SL, however over the course of production approximately 23885 units were released. The US version of the 280SL shared standard features with the European models that included 4 wheel disk brakes with power booster, 3 point seat belts and more.
